I’ve been giving my attention span to this little manga called Spy X Family. I’ve been aware of its existence for quite a while now but I never really took the time to read it, and after checking out the book my suspicions of it being good were fortunately fulfilled. This manga is the perfect mixture of slice of life and action, with wholesome writing, stunning drawings, and just a general aura of warm hugs and kisses. I honestly thought that the book would meld in with other slice of life mangas, but luckily I was proven wrong. What I think sets it apart from the rest is the fact that it weaves action and edgy themes into the story when things start to get stale. I personally never seen a book series do that before and it really elevated my thoughts on the book series. And to top it off, an anime based on the manga has been released so I can’t wait to see animated versions of the characters. I’m currently on the third book and I cant wait to move onward!
