In this modern world there are so many people that you can meet. There are also many different restaurants and places to eat. Some people may go to a cafe to just relax and have some good food, but then there are the people that just do not respect people. Those people make loud, obnoxious noises in these nice places. Such noises can be people calling and then yelling on the phone; chewing with their mouth open and talking to their friends like there is nobody around them. These people have the audacity to act like it’s their own personal space and while a normal person may get excited while talking to their friend and get a little bit loud, but will quiet down afterwards and won’t be airing out their dirty laundry (nasty information) in public. The people that aren’t aware that there are other people that don’t want to know that your friend saw a rotting animal with things crawling inside it. Also, turning up the sound on your phone to hear it is unnecessary. people don’t want to hear what you watch. There are alternatives to listening to your phone such as wearing earbuds or headphones. They don’t need to have a cord, they can be wireless.

To block out these noises, I have found that good quality earbuds and whatever music that I like helps to block out unnecessary noises in the background. There’s no need to ask them to be quiet and then have to deal with that person if they’re rude. I recommend that you use them after you get your food to make sure that you don’t miss your order and if you’re at a small restaurant then leave one earbud out to make sure that you don’t seem rude to the staff. Spotify, YouTube, or some other listening app can be used to listen to music. If you don’t feel like music, then you can prop your phone up with something and watch a show. This tactic is only used if you’re alone or if the person that you brought with you is okay with it. If you have friends with you, then drown the surrounding noise out by paying attention to your friends, just don’t be like the people that talk so that everyone in the coffee shop or restaurant can hear you. Make sure that the sound isn’t too loud for the ears, unless the goal is to not hear anything or anyone even after the earbuds are out. In the end, be considerate to the people around and if there’s a need to keep out those obnoxious noises then pop in some earbuds and listen to something that you care for.
