From the Start

It all started back in 2021 when I decided to visit my local beach, surprised to see what a disaster it had become. I didn’t think much of it before, because I had already envisioned our ideal environment. Who would of expected the consequences of our actions to finally come through? These things aren’t just affecting our beaches but the homes and habitats of wildlife out there too. I did some research on the topic of pollution and marine pollution and found out that our world really is being torn apart slowly. To make it worse is that it’s not nature’s fault, but ours, and how we are holding ourselves back from the ideal world. The idea of our mother nature falling apart doesn’t sound scary, but as time slowly creeps up, people will be worried, fearful almost.

My Desire

For me, my goal is to spread awareness on this topic. We won’t have change if we don’t even try to change. For the past 2 years, I’ve attended and volunteered at dozens of beach and park cleanups to help our environment. Alone, we won’t be able to do much but we as a community can do anything if we strive towards it. For those who believe this is a waste of time, boring, lame even, just know that it is truly satisfying to work towards the greater good. I really want to encourage everyone reading to come join us and help bring about change. Just keep in mind, that there’s always something or someone worth protecting, and now’s the time.
