Soccer Saving My Problems

During my daily life, I deal with many problems. Some include school stress, procrastination, and just people that annoy me. I have some ways to cope with these problems. My main way to cope with my problem is soccer.


When I play soccer everything washes away. I’m just focused on playing. I’m happy and have no worries when I’m playing. All of my worries and thoughts just disappear. It’s just me and the ball. I just worry about the ball going into the net.


I just love how soccer brings so many people together. When you’re playing internationally with other players we have one common language and that is soccer. When people play soccer against and with each other there are so many emotions that come out. There can be sad, happy, or mad times when you play this beautiful game.


There are many ways to cope using soccer. One of those ways is the social aspect so I don’t have to worry about my problems when I’m talking with my friends and enjoying their company. This is what I mean by soccer brings people together and I may have a not of similarities soccer field soccer is something we all enjoy and can talk about.


I have used soccer to cope with many problems I have. Like when we were in COVID lockdown the only that kept me sane was playing soccer with my brother. I felt this joy and happiness and it felt like covid wasn’t even there.

Some problems I would use soccer to deal with are if I’m having trouble with my homework I would shoot at my goal outside to clear my thoughts. Or if I am having trouble studying for my test I would kick the ball around with my brother.


Soccer is my way of dealing with my problems . It makes me feel so joyful. It’s almost as if I’m floating when I play this game. As if I’m floating out of my problems.
