My house and mind can get crazy chaotic, but music has always picked me up and made me smile. More specifically singing and performing. I have managed to put music into my everyday life by doing Troubadors at my high school, they are an elite choir group that literally travels the world to sing crazy piano/acapella pieces. For example, this summer we are flying to the Phillpiense and Vietnam, and last year they sang in Carnegie Hall in NYC.

But it’s not just about formal choir gigs. What’s truly special is how I team up with my dad. He’s not just a guitarist; he’s a music wizard with relative pitch. Together we dive into songs, any song, seriously we play whatever we feel, if that means transposing it from piano to guitar and then moving the key 14 million times so be it. It’s how we make it our own. It’s a process filled with laughs, creativity, and musical magic.
When we finally step on stage, it’s more than just performing; it’s us showcasing all the cool things we’ve done. The audience gets to see how cool we are, and we get to have fun and share some laughs right there on stage. It feels completely natural being up there together. It’s a chance for us to unwind, have a blast, and let the music speak for itself. It’s a win-win situation!

One special moment was at a school singing contest, the Voice of Fountain Valley. It was my chance to shine and show how music can light up a room.
When I step onto that stage, any nerves I have just fade away. It’s like being with friends who’ve gathered to enjoy the music, and I’m on a mission to make it a show they’ll remember. Stage fright fears me.
What truly makes the night special is how I keep it light and fun. I laugh, I have a great time, and I connect with the audience. Every note brings joy, and every lyric is playful. It’s not about stressing over a performance, it’s about having a blast and sharing that joy with everyone there. This is what makes every moment on stage unforgettable.
