Space is a place known for how endless it seems and how alone in space’s vastness we might be. Despite possibly being alone there’s comfort in it for some people who have taken an interest in it some of which study from the ground while others go into space themselves. During the night or evenings, I tend to look at the sky to see a sunset, to look at the moon, or to see stars. Astronomy (the study of space) is a study that made me want to learn more about it. From what I know now my favorite thing to have learned about has been supernovae. Supernovae have been my personal favorite thing to learn about because of their two possible outcomes, a black hole or a neutron star.

For a place as desolate and lonely as it was there was a sort of comfort and wonder when it came to it. Comfort because of my interest in it and wonder because of all there was to see and its elegance. From the ground, the universe doesn’t look particularly elegant, and yet I’ll glance at the horizon or sky and on occasion take a photo to the best of my ability.

Astronomy is a field that has me curious on how much more there can be.  I like learning about it since each new fact I learn is something that has me wondering about how certain things are either connected to or vastly different from one another. For me this field of science is something that I want to keep having an interest in because of how much it’s captivated me already.
