My life isn’t really anything fancy but a daily circle of school, sports, and homework. I don’t mind said cycle because it’s something that I’ve been in since I started school. A constant and mechanical life is comfortable, and I don’t have to worry about surprises.
When I was younger, my mom used to bake more sweets like donuts, cookies, cupcakes, small cakes, bread loaves, and more. I think because she used to bake, I fell in love with the idea of baking. So, ever since I was younger, I’ve had the same dream of opening a business (a cafe or a small restaurant). Regardless of what I do open, I know it has to be something I’m proud of. This mere dream has been with me, and I hope to accomplish it in any form.
I made these cupcakes for my mom’s birthday. I baked and made them as professional-looking as possible. Hence, the white cutout tray and brown box.

I wanted to do something one weekend, so my mom took me to the store to buy ingredients for a cake because I hadn’t baked in a long time, and I was craving something sweet. And so I baked a cake!
Before I begin to imagine the future, I have to remember to be in the present. School. If I want to do anything with my life, it starts with that word. I don’t know what college I want to go to. I get that I have a couple of years, but my sister tells me that it’ll be gone very soon. Not knowing what college I want to attend brings another problem, “What am I going to study?” But I know it has to be something with “business” in front of the major I’m going to graduate with. However, I also like learning about History and History itself. I don’t know what I’ll do with a minor in history besides being a history teacher, but maybe I’ll convince myself to minor in it for fun. Although the sound of wanting to do more classes and probably having to do summer classes to get there doesn’t seem fun, I know it will be worth it in the end. My hard work won’t be in vain.
But before the near future, I have to write about the present. In high school, since Freshman year, I’ve been doing about the same things to get through my life and school. My things are music, movies, TV shows, YouTube, baking, and cooking. I’ve always enjoyed listening to music as a way to concentrate and even escape from anything. Movies/TV shows have always always been a love in my life.

I love music and anything involving music, including movie soundtracks, etc. I also love old record players and records.

I was able to see Baribe and Oppenheimer this summer as a double feature, and the movie theater I went to had this poster before the auditoriums, so I had to take a picture!
My love for movies is endless. I love them as a way to escape reality every once in a while. I always enjoy seeing a good movie and leaving the theater happy and content. I love a good day to go to a movie theater to destress and have fun.
Regardless of time, in the present or past, I have and will probably always rely on the same things to help me get through and survive my life. It’s nothing extra or extreme, but it’s safe and has worked for years.
