Everyday after I get home from school I’m absolutely exhausted and almost want to go to sleep for the rest of the day. Even after I take a break I barely have any motivation to actually work on my school-work and homework. But there’s someone who always comes in at the right time to motivate me to keep working as hard as I can. And that person is my own cat.

My cat, Kahlua, is a 2 year old Bengal that my mom got for me when he was only 2 weeks old. He is incredibly beautiful especially with his patterns and fur. He doesn’t talk too often but when he needs something he’ll become very vocal with the softest meows you’ve ever heard. I love him and adore everything about him.

You may be asking how does a cat help me stay motivated to do my work? Well even though he’s not very talkative that doesn’t stop him from showing his love. He’ll wait outside my room until I open my door so he can come in and rub on my leg. He loves to play with anything he can get his hands on and I enjoy spending time playing with him very much.

All of this matters to me because it shows that someone out there adores me and cares about me all the time.
