What is the one thing that you desire most in life, and what are you willing to do for it? Some people want things and need things, but what are people willing to do for things? The thought of it isn’t taken into consideration. There are major downsides to wanting something too desperately, however, we aren’t aware of what we would sacrifice to achieve it. Although wanting something desperately can be a good motivator for a goal, it can also be used as a poison to the brain to make foolish decisions. For instance, some people want to be the best at something. That can be from being the strongest person to being the fastest person. Or, it can be a physical object you desire. What if you wish for the newest Rolex? If you want this item so desperately, you would want to put in the hours and hard work to save up for it, right? This is entirely dependent on the person if they are patient or impatient; if they have good intentions or bad intentions.
If you desire something so badly, you may decide to take shortcuts by whatever means necessary. You may not consider the consequences, but they may affect you as a being, and even more, they may even involve other people. A person who wants something too desperately is the sin of greed. They have a selfish, excessive desire for more of something. This person may also be under the influence of the Dunning-Kruger effect. They overestimate their skills, but in reality, it’s quite the opposite. In some cases, wanting something too desperately makes you rely on others, and they may not be the best choice of people to help you. In fact, they can be the complete opposite, being a traitorous snake and taking advantage of you and maybe others around you, also because they may want something desperately. Considering all this, wanting something too desperately can be a good thing or bad thing depending on the person, but ultimately, wanting something too desperately can change your view on some things in life in a negative way.
