During quarantine life was as boring as we know it but there were many things starting to get popular such as NFT’s or Crypto but in my case I wanted to buy and sell sports cards. Sports cards really blew up in mid (2020) with the prices of cards sky rocketing 3 to 4x in the span of a month. I had been collecting sports cards before but it was nothing like anyone has seen before. The Popularity shot threw the roof, retail stores like target sold out and people began to hoard the boxes and resell them for a higher price. It was almost like a job for people since in quarantine people were laid off their job. It was almost like a win, win scenario because it was perfect if you loved sports.

Even after a year in mid (2020) Cards were not as hot but still booming. They even had in person events where people would go to set up a station and sell cards and people would walk around and see what they wanted to buy during this selling cards became less like a part-time job and more like a full-time job. I even went to one of the card shows myself but it was one of the smaller ones. I still remember how excited I was to go and walk around. When I got there nothing changed I was still thrilled to be there. I walked around for what felt like minutes and hours had passed. I still remember these good times in the dreadful quarantine.
