There, next to the other houses, lined up one by one, one after the other.
There, in a rounded circle neighborhood, in the middle, the center. That was my house, the place I would call my home sweet home. In the backyard, there was a tall standing orange tree.
Right there, the big orange tree stands tall, with fresh oranges filled with sweetness.
There, in my backyard flourishing with colors, where plants and plants and plants grew.
There, amongst the other houses in the neighborhood, it had an abundant flowery parade of colors out front.
There, that’s my home, my neighborhood. My home sweet home.
There, that’s where I live, or at least where I once lived.
Cat Heaven
Cats, and, cats, and cats galore
Cats, tabby, ginger, spots, and orange.
Everywhere and anywhere. Here, there, and over there.
That’s how I would describe my aunt’s house, otherwise known as cat heaven. Originally she only started off with adopting one, but soon one became two, and then two became four. Yes, just four cats, but they’re quite a ball of energy. Each having their own distinct personality.
The duo ginger cats. Though, from the same litter, are quite different. One a playful troublemaker while the other a timid, quiet shy cat. The other two furballs were given to my aunt by a close relative.
Though I don’t personally have a pet cat or any, one can dream of this cat heaven.
Cloud Gazing
Clouds. Simple white fluffy marshmallows floating around in the sky. They’re abundant everywhere you look. Look up and you’ll see one now no doubt. Glancing up at the sky, you can never get bored trying to figure out what shape a single cloud can be. One moment it’s a rubber yellow duck, the next it’s an ugly-shaped boot. Or it can be the shape of a soaring bird and then become a tall growing tree. The possibilities are endlessly endless just like our extensive universe. No cloud is the same just like how two stones are different.
Clouds are always ever-changing never staying in the same shape they once were.
My New Roommate Andy
Unfortunately, I have a rat problem in my house.
Fortunately, this rat is very nice, his name is Andy.
Unfortunately, I might have to evict him from my house due to my roommate’s fear of rats.
Fortunately, my roommate doesn’t have to find out about this if the rat leaves now.
Unfortunately, the mouse feels sad and won’t have a place to stay after this.
Fortunately, my next-door neighbor loves rats and has a family of them.
Unfortunately, the next-door neighbor doesn’t want this specific rat due to its strangeness.
Fortunately, there’s a tree outside my garden with a hole inside.
Unfortunately, Andy is too big to fit inside the hole inside the tree.
Fortunately, my roommate decided to move out earlier since they noticed the rat months ago before I did.
Unfortunately, the rat can’t pay rent like my roommate did.
Fortunately, the rat was too cute to kick out so I let him live in my house rent-free.
A Funky Spoon Featuring A Bear on Roller Skates
The most memorable part of my childhood for sure would be all the funky-designed spoons that my grandparents had. Whenever it would be lunch time or time for food I would always have this one specific soon that I would get to eat with. The bear dressed up in a pink shirt while rocking the blue roller skates. This was always my spoon whenever I’d eat over at their house. It’d always bring a smile to my face seeing the funky little bear on the spoon. And surprising, there was a matching set with other animals as well. Like a cow on roller skates with a pink tie, a kangaroo with blue roller skates with a pink pair of pants, and many more. Of course, they were all equally funky, but I still absolutely adored them.
