“House over the years”

From what I can remember. I have only lived in one house. The house isn’t a mansion but it is filled with memories from as long as I can remember. I don’t need or want another house. It is perfect the way it is.I remember asking my parents how long we have been in this house and my mom’s response was “This used to be my great grandma’s house”. After hearing that I didn’t think I ever wanted to move. The house is filled with memories from my childhood and my moms. The house has had some remodeling done to keep it in livable condition but the house is strong. The house is kept in good condition thanks to all my family who lives in it. Would I like to live in a different house? No I would not, the memories from this house are something that I can never change.

“Two Unlike Things”

There will always be a difference. Sometimes there will be big differences and sometimes small. Sometimes you will have to see the difference between two unlike things. My sister and I are two different people. She likes her steaks well done while I like mine medium rare. She is much older than me. She gets to do things I cannot. She gets to make her own money at the job she works at. I can’t get a job and earn money yet but I would like to. She says she has “it’s harder” and “she wishes she was still in school”. While I wish I was in her shoes she wishes she was in mine. Like many we are two different people with unlike things in common.

“Look Deeper”

To make a friend you gotta look deep. You have to be sure that you and this person are able to be friends. You will have to make sure that this person is the person that you want to know. To find out who someone truly is you have to take a good look at them and read who they are. That is how you will know if you want them in your life or if they are not gonna be a good fit in your life.

“Beauty of Things”

Many things can be beautiful. You just gotta look closely and you will see that everything has beauty in it. A simple cloud can be shaped like something that gives you a sign of hope or relief. Even a pile of garbage has beauty in it. It might not smell the best but there can be beauty in it. Everything in life has beauty because it is another day you get to live. You can find beauty in anything because everyday alive is another reason to be happy.

“Who we are”

Do you know who you are? You might just say your name. But everyone is more than what they think they are. Everyone is special in their own type of way. Someone might be great in looks while others will be great at heart. Everyone should know who they are. Sometimes people need to look deep within themselves to find who they are. I would like to know who I am. Many of us need to find who we are.
