My Name

My name is Jovany. It could have been anything but my parents agreed to name me Jovany. When I was born and learned my name I liked my name. I never knew where they got the name Jovany from but I knew it had to be special. I believed it was my grandmother who told my mom to name me Jovany and she told my dad and that’s how I got my name. 

Moving

I moved a lot over the years, until I moved to Huntington Beach. I found a much better home and school was better than where I previously lived. I have been here for a while now and enjoyed it more than other places I moved to. My whole family enjoys it here and I don’t think we will be moving anytime soon since we like it here.

Writing

Writing is the most important skill to have but it can sometimes be hard to write or think about what to write about. What I do is read other writing to find a topic or an idea to write about. But sometimes I can’t find something to write about so I would write about my life and stuff I enjoy doing. This strategy works best for most people and that’s how I wrote this story.

Colors

My favorite color used to be red then blue then now green. It seems to change as I get older. I tend to like colors that I didn’t like as much when I was younger. My current favorite color is green. It’s a bright green color that pops out of every color. So I enjoy having green clothes and anything that is green is pretty cool to me.

Food

One of my favorite things to do is eat or cook food. I enjoy cooking food with my mom and eating it. The food  is always good and delicious. I like to eat all types of food and try different cultural foods. I like to try new foods and find a new delicious favorite food. Some of my favorite foods are tacos, pizza, burgers, pasta, steak, and much more. I think if food is cooked well and seasoned well I would eat it easily as I enjoy trying new foods. So any well cooked dish with good food is a good dish.
