Dumb and Dumber

As the man walked into the conference room he was greeted by many businessmen in the finest suits and with many great achievements. Based on their formal attire and prestige, he suspected that they were all geniuses. He was very intimidated at first but eventually, he mustered up the courage to go talk to them. The first thing he noticed when talking to various people was they all used big words that he had never heard before. After a while, the man just sat down in his spot at the conference table and thought about everything all those businessmen had said. After thinking about it, he realized that all of those “geniuses” used those fancy words incorrectly. Although they dressed well and acted smart, they were a lot less smart than they seemed.

Rich Boy Problems

There was once an extremely rich boy who did not know how to make friends. Eventually, he was tired of this, so he paid people to be his friend. This worked for a while but he noticed that all of his “friends” slowly left him after he paid them. After many long years of this, he realized buying friends would no longer work and he gave up. He became closed off and a stereotypical “grumpy old dude.” One day, he was watering his plants in his front yard when a little boy walked by and stopped to talk to him. He asked if the man was okay because he seemed a little grumpy. The old dude initially didn’t want to talk to him, but after a bit of nagging from the kid, he opened up to him telling him how he never could make friends and how he was sad and lonely. The kid sat there and thought about what the old man said for a minute until he told the old man a very similar story. He then asked the old man if he wanted to be his friend. The old man accepted his offer and they became best friends.

Puppeteer

John was a guy who focused too much on girls. John was a very smart man and really good at strategizing. One day, on his walk to school he saw a beautiful girl and he instantly fell in love. Later that he saw him again at school hanging out with one of his friends that he didn’t talk to much. From that day on, he started getting really close to his friend and eventually started using his friend like a puppet. He got him to introduce the girl and talk to the girl for him. Eventually he and the girl started going out, John’s plan to use his friend to get close to the girl went perfectly. Eventually John completely stopped talking to his friend and his freind realized John was just using him.

Gopher Man

Jerry the gopher is just a normal gopher living in a man’s lawn. He relied on tunnel systems under the man’s lawn to survive, without it, he and his children would have no shelter. One day Jerry and his family were in their tunnels when suddenly the tunnels started filling up with water. Jerry tried to escape the tunnels before it was too late, but he could not make it out and ended up blacking out. Eventually, Jerry woke up in a human bed, in a human house. He looked around a little and ended up going outside where he saw many gopher holes in the lawn. Instinctively, he went to stomp them out, but then he remembered how much he relied on those tunnels to survive. Jerry remembered how bad it was when his home was destroyed and ended up going back into his house and leaving the other gophers.

Josh Who Sees Monsters

Like every child, Josh hated going to sleep but for a different reason than other kids. Everytime Josh went to sleep, a massive venom-like monster with red eyes came out from behind his bed and stood over him. When it first started happening, he would call his dad in, but every time he did this his dad would just assume it was his mind playing tricks on him. Eventually the boy grew used to this so he just stopped calling his dad in. One day the house was oddly quiet, so the dad went to check on Josh. The dad walked into the room and saw the monster that Josh described all everytime Josh called him in. The moment the monster saw the dad, he jumped out of the window and ran away. When the dad went to check and see if Josh was okay, Josh was gone. In that moment the dad wished he had believed Josh all of those times.
