               “Normal day with derrick”

It was Saturday morning and very cold on that December morning. A very calm morning and Derrick and  I were going to play golf later. First, he came over to me to play some Fortnite. I greeted him as he walked into my house. He sat and played some matches while I made some pancakes and bacon. We sat at the table and ate the delicious food arguing about who would win the baseball game later. After Breakfast, we got our golf clubs into the car and we drove to Torrey Pines Golf Course in San Diego. The course was very nice on the cliffs of San Diego. The air was beautiful and full of the warm smells of the ocean. We Set off on our golfing experience. As we each swung the club into all 18 holes it was fun. Relaxing. After golf, we picked up some pizza and wings for the big game at my house. We had some other friends over as we sang to the Star Spangled Banner. When World Series game 7 started with the Padres vs the Angels it was going to be great. As we ate our food we watched on our toes when Frenando Tais Jr. hit a walk-off grand slam off Shohei Ohtani to win the World Series. We felt the atmosphere even though we were not there, it was as wild as a lion. After Derrick mourned over the loss and I jumped for joy, We had to say goodbye. We hugged each other and did our wild handshake. Smile. Goodbye, we both said and we will meet again soon.

                  “A Normal Day With Max”

It was a cold February night. I was alone at the time so I asked Max if he wanted to come over for dinner and Minecraft. He got here as fast as a rocket flying through my front door. He turned on my PlayStation 5 and started to build his 5-story Minecraft hotel. As he was playing, I started to cook dinner and listened to some pop music. I asked Max what he wanted for dinner and he said he wanted Katsu curry. I gathered all the ingredients and started to whip up the meal. While the food was frying I sat on the couch and played some Minecraft with him. After we smelt the food, we stopped playing and set the table. We enjoyed our katsu curry and some glasses of water. After we ate and shared stories at the table we ended up deciding to read some manga. Max read Bleach and I read Hunter x Hunter. We sat in our bean bags by the fire and read for an hour. We both expressed the adventures each book had taken us on in those moments. The time was midnight as we walked outside. The breeze was as cold as ice. I brought my volleyball outside and we started to practice for our big game coming up next week. As we were practicing I bumped pop music on the speaker. After we practiced, we went inside and ate some sushi before Max said he had to go back home. Max Said thank you for the hospitality and I thanked him for coming. We gave each other a hug. The hug was as warm as the sun. We said see you later, and we knew we would hang out again and again.

                 “A Normal Day with Arthur”

One day I invited Arthur to come over to my house to play some League of Legends for a while. When he walked in he brought some food and drinks to have while we played. After losing for what felt like a million times, we decided to go outside and play some badminton at the local recenter. We teamed up and played against some other teams as well. We ended up playing a large tournament. When we made it to the championship game, we felt the world on our backs. With every swing of aggression, we took to smash the birdie. We ended up losing the match, but we had lots of fun. Before we went back to the house, we picked up some burgers and fries from In and Out. As we drove home the sky was getting dark and the -99,000-degree wind rushed into the car. When we finally arrived at my house we ate our food and played some more League of Legends. After dueling in a 1vs1, I finally won a match. As the clock struck midnight our bodies were dead from the fun-filled day. Arthur and I said our goodbyes and that I will see him at school.

“A perfectly normal day with Me, Myself, and I”

It was a cold winter morning and also the first day of winter break. I had the day to myself, so I decided to make the most of it. First I made myself some sausage and bacon for breakfast. I started up the grill and started flipping pancakes and bacon. I was alone for the weekend while my family was in the Maldives. I decided to turn on the football game on the television while I cooked. I finished cooking around halftime of the game. I poured myself a nice hot cup of tea with my favorite French vanilla creamer. As I was enjoying my food I wrote down the things I thought I should do that day. I decided to play some basketball at the local gym first. I entered the basketball court in my new shoes mom got me for Christmas. When the referee chose our teams the atmosphere got tense. There was a tall man with dark skin, black buzzed hair, and bright pink shoes. Next to him was a man about my height with long blonde hair and light skin. The next two were twins with light brown skin, short black hair, and black basketball jerseys. I felt good about my team, and we worked well together as the game progressed. We eventually won with me taking the game-winning shot. I drove home and took a nice long shower, hot water of course. Then I decided to hit the hay for the night while looking forward to tomorrow.

“An ice cream evening with my siblings”

It was Thursday, and my siblings and I just got out of school for the day. I had to go and pick them all up from school. First I went to my little brother Gunterś class at Cox Elementary School. Gunter hopped into the and we went to pick up my little sister Nidara. When both kids were in the car I told them I had a surprise for them. I drove to Baskin Robbins ice cream parlor where they had 31 different flavors to choose from. When we walked in it was very cold, but it also smelled really good. Right before we ordered, we saw a huge sign that said challenge. As we read the sign we all looked at each other and smiled. The sign read: “Gutbuster challenge, eat this giant bowl of ice cream in 30 minutes and the ice cream is free” So we decided to do the challenge together. As the worker brought out the bowl of ice cream our jaws dropped. The bowl was as big as a cow. The worker put it on the table and the timer started. We were off to a great start while stuffing our mouths trying to get everything down. All of a sudden with 5 minutes left the worst thing happened. We all got brain freezes. The clock was ticking like a woodpecker pecking a tree. We were so close with one minute left we had to go superhuman and finish. We each locked in and ate as fast as we could. 5 seconds, 4, 3, 2, 1. With one second left time slowed down as Gunter was taking the final Bite. The worker brought his camera out for the photo finish.  “Time!” The worker shouted. We looked at the photo and we won. We ended up thanking the workers for the ice cream as we scurried our way home.

                “The Break-feast heist”

This was a mission alright. My family and I were at the neighbor’s house and making breakfast at their house. There were people everywhere in the kitchen and backyard cooking. I made the pancakes with my finest pancake recipe. Dad made the eggs, Mom made the sausage, Mr. Billy helped my dad make chorizo and eggs, Mrs. Jenna made the bundt cake, and Omi made the bacon. The house was a zoo with different people and different smells left and right. I poured the batter onto the grill and then flipped them. I repeated this process a few times, Pour and flip. I sprinkled chocolate chips onto some other pancakes. As everyone was getting close to finishing their dishes for our feast, the kids set the table. The kids were hungry so I had to flip as I could while trying to cook 6 pancakes at a time. My palms were sweaty, my knees were weak and my arms were heavy. I was nervous, but on the surface, I was calm and ready to flip each pancake on and steady. The kids all of a sudden pulled out their water guns and I was on my last pancake. I was flipping as they fired at me, and I dodged the bullets while still flipping each pancake. I finished! I yelled and the kids put their guns down as I had won the breakfast mission. Bang! Boom! Clack! Or not…ha……a.

                    “The burrito”

Every day after school I get so hungry. I always dream of freshly picked strawberries that are as red as an apple and as juicy as a pineapple. Sometimes I just can’t wait to get home and eat and sometimes I literally can’t wait. So one day after school I was starving once again. I then thought to myself what restaurants are around FVHS that I could go to. I decided to walk towards KFC because there are tons of restaurants over there. As I get closer and closer to the food area, I get more and more hungry. When I finally got to the food area, I had to make a choice. The habit, is KFC, Sabrosada, Chipotle, Wing Stop, or Blaze Pizza. After thinking about my options I chose Sabrosada because I was in the mood for Mexican food. When I walked in I was immediately greeted with the smell of Mexican food. I ordered a burrito and horchata. When I got my food my mouth was drooling with delight. I took a bite and the world turned right side up again. I felt my body being given energy. I was able to think and move. That was one day I will never forget.

                “The roar of the crowd”

Bottom of the 9th inning, 0 outs and bases loaded. Mookie Betts is up for the Dodgers, and if all 4 runs are scored the Dodgers will win the World Series.  Aaron Nola of the Phillies pitches the first pitch, and Mookie takes ball 1.  This is very intense for all of the players right now, they have trained for this moment their whole entire careers. Here we go with the next pitch, and it’s a fastball outside for ball 2. The crowd is extremely quiet after being as loud as a jet airplane. The crowd is trying to put pressure on the hitter to be stressed. Here’s the next pitch, Nola throws a curveball that lands in for strike one in the bottom left corner. The next pitch comes right down the middle and Betts swings! The ball hit into the right-center field gap. 1 score, 2 scores, and that is a 2 run double for Mookie Betts.  Next up is Shohei Ohtani, who is the newest addition to the team. 2 more runs and the Los Angeles Dodgers are the World Series champions. Nola throws the first pitch which falls in for strike one. The next pitch is….. Ball outside. The count is 1-1. The score of the game is 6-5. The Phillies are winning right now. There is a man on second and third for the Dodgers with Shohei Ohtani up to bat. Here is the next pitch, which is a slider in the dirt. Here comes the next pitch, which is a fastball inside for ball 3. 3-1 is the count with Freddy Freeman on deck. Nola gets ready for the next pitch and zips the ball like lightning to third base tagging the runner. The umpire calls the runner at third out! Now there are 2 outs. Here’s the next pitch, which is a swing and miss for Ohtani. 3-2 with 2 outs and a man on 2nd base. It all relies on this pitch. Here it is. It’s a curveball, and Shohei swings and hits it deeeeeeeeep right center field!  And it issss caught!! By Kyle Swarber at the wall! Game over and the Phillies win the World Series against the Dodgers.
