Motherly bond

When I was little, my mom would take me and my family to a park near our house. It is called Miles Square Park. It was right down the street from my house. Every couple of weeks, we would bring cereal and throw it to the ducks in the pond. Looking back at it, I remember the exact cereal that we would feed them. It was called KIX. The reason why we would only feed this kind of cereal was because no one liked this cereal, but my grandma would always buy it. We would each get a zip-lock with cereal in it. Towards the end, we would throw cereal at each other. One day, it got stuck in my mom’s hair because of the sugar that melted off the cereal. I remember that she was so mad at us. I would cry every time we would leave because I wanted to keep playing.

Someone like me

Growing up, I was lucky to have someone who was just like me. My sister and I have been close since we were little. We are so close to the point where we’ve kind of inherited each other’s traits. I looked up to her and wanted to do everything she did, from the way she walked to the way she talked. I feel like I have the same laugh as my sister. One time, when I was on a call with my friend, she started to laugh and my friend asked me why I was laughing. She thought that I was laughing instead of my sister. Even if we don’t look alike, we are the same person at heart.

Doing Good Sunday

Before covid happens my family and I would go and pick up trash at the beach in the summer. I remember how we would all have a contest to see whose bag was the most filled at the end of the day. Whoever had the most trash went to get as many toppings on their ice cream. When we would pick up trash I remember getting scared of all the penguins that would fly around everywhere, I always thought it would attack me. To this day I am kinda still scared of birds. There was no program that we signed up for to help but my mom thought it was a good deed to do. So once every 2 weeks during the summer we would pick up trash and get ice cream afterwards.

My worst nightmare

Everyday I wake up dreading what is about to happen. Each morning I get ready for school. Personally I hate school, having to go to something that I don’t enjoy really makes me feel like i’m suffering. The only thing that I like about school is probably the people I hang out with everyday. That makes something bad better. Everyday In class I feel my head getting heavier and heavier. EVerything around me is getting darker and darker. At one point I gave in to the thing calling my name. My brain is telling me to go to sleep but my heart is telling me to stay awake. One day after another is the same routine I go through. Something that I cannot escape and have to deal with everyday for my entire life. 

The truth

Everyone is unique in  their own way, whether it’s looks, the way they act, how they dress and more. But there are a lot of things everyone has in common. Something everyone does but might not admit it. That is wanting something you can’t have. Wanting something you can’t have makes a person want it even more. It drives you to desire it and to want it. The thought of you not being able to have it makes you drive to something greater. No one can resist this feeling because it is natural to have it. I always want things that I can’t have, do you?
