Introduction
A collection of random short stories created from the caves of my mind.
Sky & Sun
The Sky was sad. He had no Sun and only the Clouds to comfort him. It had been a gloomy weekend and Sky was excited for the week, as he was sure, the Sun would shine again. But, Sun didn’t. So, here he was, the almighty Sky, who has been here for ages, tucked away from the Universe.
He missed Sun. She keeps the Heavens warm and beautiful. And would make the Sky as blue as the Moon would make the sea.
Sky didn’t know what to do with all the clouds. Maybe he can talk to them and convince them to pack their things and go. No, I can’t do that! That’s impossible..right?..No yeah it is.
Sun had left him. No, she couldn’t, the two of them were partners. The Universe turned because of them (the Moon was important too).
Hours had passed, and the Sky was becoming impatient. The world was caving in on him.
“Stop your whining Sky, I’m here, the one and only Sun herself.”
“Oh thank Heaven,” Sky said with the brightest eyes he had ever cast.
“The Clouds are boring, Sun, never do that again,” Sky smiled.
“Yes, yes. I will never leave again without telling you.”
“Thank you, Sun.”
“Of course Sky.”
Make This Feel Like Home
There was a small, cozy house, or more of a cottage, in the forest. It was lit with dim lights outside and inside. Although no soul could explain the lights inside. Anyone who knew – there wasn’t a person living there. Or anything living in there. The forest was always green and shiny. The trees had a life of their own. It rained so often that almost every day, a new plant would be born.
There were legends of this forest for whatever reason, that the small home was magical. Or it was dark magic…Who would know? The newcomers to the neighboring neighborhood would laugh, and the people who lived there for a short while would too, all except for the locals. These people knew the legend to be true because they had seen people walk in the forest and never return. It’s also said that the house is a portal to another dimension or universe. No one dares to walk into the forest, let alone into the house. Whether it be because they don’t believe in it, or because they’re terrified, or simply because they don’t want to be disappointed in what they find.
One day, one local man couldn’t resist his curiosity, he had to see it, had to see if all those years of hearing and seeing something was real and it wasn’t him going insane. He walks deep into the forest, where no creature would step.
He finds the house, takes deep breaths, takes a leap of faith, and walks in.
Everything is gone. Stars or lights? Or is it all pitch black and the mind playing games?
I’m dead. Surely I am. “Hello?” Another voice, not of the man spoke. Wait. I know that voice. One that once filled the room with happiness. Darling? No, it-it can’t be. Martha…you’re.. here, alive? “No,” said the woman in the calmest voice the man had ever heard his wife speak. “I’ve been waiting for you to walk through that door,” she said with passion that never died. What, where am I? “You’re home James, we can live and be together again. As it was always meant to be.”
The Multiverse

A poor child of the universe lost and confused. A figure always mopping on the streets with a helpless face and expressionless. No one could help, not even her own family.
A dream. It was a dream. A series of thoughts. A world where she was happy. A life full of light and warmness. She was happy. It was all she wanted, to be a part of something good. So, that’s exactly what she did. Live in a reality, that was real, but not in her world, an alternate one.
She would wake up with a smile on her face. Her spirits were through the roof and she even met someone. A wonderful person. A man created just for her. They were happy with the sweet life they made for each other.
But, nothing good stays forever.
The universe worked in mysterious ways, and in terrible ways. The odds were never in her favor.
It was a gloomy morning, a perfect setting for a cup of coffee, or tea in bed, depending on what level of greatness she felt.
Something was different, however. It was quiet, eerily quiet. It was never like this. No sound of the wind whispering by the window by her nightstand. Or the early birds singing for the lovely couple. Oh, how everything changes in a flash for a kindred soul.
Season 113 Episode 111: “Her Lover Comes to an End”
“Why the long face.”
I don’t feel right, I feel ill-hearted, the woman spoke with discomfort.
…“Hey, don’t say that, you have me.”
I can’t do this anymore.
“What.”
I can’t explain it.
“Yes, you can, you can never leave – me.”
…What? What did you say?
“Don’t ever leave me alone.”
I-I don’t know what to say…
“Oh darling, if you leave me, I’ll never make it alone.”
Her life became miserable quickly and crumbled like sand castles. Nothing’s new. Even in a fake world, her life is destined to become concerning. That’s how it is for some folks. She was never lucky and will never beat her odds.
The Book of Future
There was not much in Smallville, except a bookstore that appeared overnight. Many of the townsfolk claimed that it had always been there. It was just simply tucked away from the people. Others know the truth, it wasn’t there. It showed up out of nowhere. Until one day, one curious soul decided to walk into the mysterious bookstore.
As the people had said, there was a bookkeeper and books. What? How?
“Hello and welcome!” Greeted the older man behind the counter.
“Hey, good afternoon sir,” the young man replied.
“I’m just going to look around.”
“Sounds good, have fun,” the bookkeeper said with a warm smile.
The young man, Oliver, looked around, avoiding knocking books over. The room filled with piles and piles of books, until he found a shiny book. What is that? He walked in front to pick it up. A series of plays by an unknown author. He opens it but the words are gibberish. So, naturally, Oliver started to read through the book. His eyes became clearer or something because the words stated to become actual words. Paragraphs of someone’s life to be.
It’s not just someone, Oliver, it’s your future. It’s something that needs to be unfolded. The bookkeeper said to the right of Oliver’s side.
“You don’t mean that, that’s crazy, sir.”
Is it not, have a little faith.
That’s what he did, believe an old man because what did he have to lose.
Oliver walked out of the store, knowing his future. He felt lighter like he no longer had any worries. He went back home, smiled, and hugged his girlfriend for what felt like ages. Oliver’s life has changed and now he can live it to the fullest. The opportunity of a lifetime fell into the hands of a young man, a nobody, yet, he was chosen.
You Look Lonely, I Can Fix That
It’s 2072, and the world hasn’t been the same since the 2000’s. People aren’t the same. There is no real human connection anymore. The humans are more Androids than the robot Androids that were created a couple decades ago. There is nothing I can do. Also, I would like to mention that in this society, memories can be sold and brought. The present is not a present.
Kole had lost his wife a year prior. He has been living in constant waves of memories of what was once Heaven. He knew of a store near his house where they could help him. No doctor or fancy psychologist can help him. He doesn’t want to bury his feelings and emotions, he wants to forget and move on. He can’t go on like this. Claire wouldn’t want that for him.
He called in sick from work and decided to go. He walked in and was hit with smoke or fog. It smelled nice, like earth and mint.
“Hello, how can I help you, sir,” a man welcomed him.
I want to forget about someone, permanently.
“Well of course sir, you’re in the right place.”
He took me to a room with a glowy red-orange tint background. But it was open land with nothing but a bed, air, and my cowardness.
“It doesn’t hurt sir, none of the process does. Maybe a little I suppose, but the pain you have now, is nothing compared to this. You’ll be okay, rest now, on the bed. See you on the other side, sir.”
I laid down. I can finally forget about your smile. The way you smiled at me when I did something nice or stupid. I’m sorry, I can’t do this without you. I never deserved you. I’m sorry. I love you. I love you more than this life.
“You are done, sir. Have a great life.”
Thank you. Thank you for everything.
It was over. I tried to remember a girl I once loved. I couldn’t. I don’t know if I should feel bad or guilty. I know if Claire were me, she would do the same thing. We always wanted the best for each other, and this was the only way for me. She left and so I left her too.
Nothing hurts anymore, my heart can beat. I can live and be free of my chains. I’m alive.
