Is it Right or is it Wrong?

War is a tough discussion about morals, ethics, and politics, so there isn’t a good answer if it is all bad or kind of bad. Leaders of countries and empires have their reasons for starting a war, sometimes with a good reason and sometimes with a terrible reason. All we know is that most wars aren’t necessary because everyone would lose something. For example, countries will lose resources put into the war, civilians would lose family members, and relationships will crumble. Even if soldiers were to survive the war, they would feel something missing, a feeling of being lost in a postwar setting. All of these losses are jumbled into one event: World War 1. The reason it got this big was because Europe had used a type of time bomb called the alliance system. Leaders felt obligated to join the war if their ally was in war. Neutral countries were forced into it. Total war brought countries to an end.

Now what was the goal of the war?

Austria-Hungary wanted to get revenge against Serbia.

What was accomplished in World War 1?

Nothing much except the creation of new inventions. Inventions of mass killing.

“Was this war unnecessary?”

Yes, yes it was.
