Party with Rad TIME BRAD

It was the first week of summer. No school. No studying. All free time. Whatever I want. But even with 2 months of no school and all free time, I didn’t know what to do. But on a Saturday, around 11 AM. I got a text from my friend RAD TIME BRAD. I was surprised. Usually RAD TIME BRAD is asleep at this time. One thing about RAD TIME BRAD is that he LOVES partying. Every night, he goes to the closest party to his moms house and parties all night till sunrise; so it was surprising seeing a text when during his bedtime. I told myself a few years ago that I wouldn’t join him in his partying again, and that it would be the last time I would party with RAD TIME BRAD again.

His text read, “Hey you wanna come to this party? It’s close by and it’d be fun broooo 😎.” And so I texted back,”Yk wut sure.” Not even 2 minutes later, he’s at my front door. It’s as if he was outside my neighborhood waiting for me. I come out ready and hop in his mom’s old Toyota. He is sitting there, sunglasses on, half asleep. I sat there with regret slowly consuming my eyes. As soon as I opened the car door to leave, he jolts awake and yells, “LETS GOO!!!” as he was speeding down the road. I sit in the passenger seat, panicking, wondering if I was going to die or not. After a few minutes I completely accepted my fate if this was the way I was going to go out. BUT SURPRISINGLY, we made it to the party safely, with 0 casualties. RAD TIME BRAD parks in front of the party and gets out nonchalantly, while I’m sitting there with wide eyes, scared to death. RAD TIME BRAD opens the entrance to the party, ” you gonna get out of the car or just sit in the car for the rest of the day?” I get up after that traumatizing experience, and entered that building somewhat ready to party.

An hour in and I was done. RAD TIME BRAD was partying TOO hard for me. He was dancing around shirtless, eating all the pizza, stealing peoples watches, jewelry, necklaces, and spilled all the fruit punch; and everyone was rockin’ with him. I tried the party life again to see if anything changed, and nothing has changed; the party life just wasn’t for me. This would be the last time I ever partied with RAD TIME BRAD, again…
