The following comic takes inspiration from the comic They Called Us Enemy and the placing of Japanese citizens in internment camps. The idea that innocent people were being given poor treatment and were being discriminated against is one that is apparent in my own comic as I thought that it was important to highlight the unfairness of these actions. While I created a cartoon comic that has cute and easily understandable characters to help readers acknowledge the story, they still portray the main message. The ultimate takeaway that I would like readers to gain after reading my comic is that one should never jump to conclusions or act on assumptions which can leave others in despair.
