Who IS the Enemy?

The enemy is defined as; a hostile nation or its armed forces or citizens, especially in times of war. The brutality of enemies in war can be beyond description. Knowing the brutal reality of war, you don’t see anyone try to stop it? If it’s for your gain, why stop?

They Called Us Enemy, by George Takei, talks about the true realities of being a Japanese American during World War II and the incarceration they went through. Yet this monstrous situation can’t help but remind me of the brutalities going on around the world that are caused by the unsettling desire for power.

Palestine. A country filled with culture, history, and PEOPLE completely destroyed with nothing left but ashes and the suffering of its people. The incarceration of Japanese Americans, just like the Palestinians were incarcerated in 1948. What people witnessed happen to the Japanese Americans now happens with our people of Palestine. Yet again no one speaks. This is no war over land or fear, this is genocide.

The ignorance of people, the media blocking the true gore realities of the situation, and the media still trying to portray Israel as a victim of terrorism. When will this end?

I hear people wonder how no one noticed the genocide of the Jews back in 1941, yet no one notices the genocide of the Palestinians; which has been going on since 1948 to this day. Today we watch a genocide. We let our people suffer in silence. Our people who have no voice, and we let them down. The endless killing, bombing, and displacement, how brave must they be to fight still and resist?

The United States, a country that supposedly stands for freedom but is the biggest supplier of weapons to Israel, and yet also passed Executive Order 9066 which allowed the displacement of Japanese Americans. Where are the principles that this country we live in stands for? Our people need help, yet all you worry about is that you are safe, and not under invasion..? History repeats itself again and again and whether it’s Japanese Americans or Palestinians; You should not stand and watch in silence. Demand a ceasefire

The isolation and persecution of the Japanese Americans, The isolation and persecution of the Palestinians. Shame on you.
