As we grow up memories can be sweet or bitter, but they provide us with important lessons and fond memories. Similar to the comic “They Called Us the Enemy,” the author recalls memories of his past and how he’s grown from them and seen things that he couldn’t before. Growing up gives us a better understanding of our memories as kids.
