These differences and emphasis on side characters make JJK more appealing to a wider audience. This is what made Jujutsu Kaisen as popular as it is.

The art style and storytelling of Gege Akutami keep the audience captivated. While every single manga artist and comic book creator has a different art style and way of telling a story, Gege Akutami is able to combine comedy, serious moments, beautiful fight scenes, and in-depth storylines. JJK is renowned for its amazing attention to detail in the story and art. The animation adaptation by MAPPA is being handled incredibly well too. Despite their apparent mistreatment of their animators, the company has created an anime with amazing effects, good voice acting, a beautiful soundtrack, and great-looking fight scenes. There is a reason this is one of the most popular animes/mangas of all time. Jujutsu Kaisen gets a lot of qualities of a great manga right and does them well.
