One of the most memorable moments of my 10th-grade year was watching a football game with my friend, Jarason. The night was dark and you could smell the fresh hamburgers in the air, the bright stadium lights cast a glow over the field as we were walking up to find our seats. Fountain Valley versus Los Al we knew the game would be tough, but we still had high hopes.
Jarason and I were having a great time unable to keep in our laughs. It wasn’t about winning anymore it was about being there together, sharing these moments, and having a good time. As the fourth quarter came the energy in the stands was crazy, everyone was having a great time despite us losing by 20.
This night taught me a very important thing, it doesnt matter where you are it matters who you’re with. It wasn’t about the score or the win, it was about the memories we created. We may have lost the game but the time we had together made it an unforgettable night.
