Every day, every year, it seems to be the case.
There’s a need for paper, pencil, calculator, phone, and laptop.
Every day, every year, it has not stopped since then.
Hundreds of milliliters of ink used, of grams of lead toiled upon.
Every day, every year, the pattern begins to reveal itself.
Photos upon photos, files upon files, PDFs saved and deleted.
Every day, every year, the cycle has repeated and will repeat.
I have been working on a math assignment, every day, for 4 years.
The cycle is bound to repeat, it has not stopped for ages.
Or perhaps next year things will change, take a new change.

- Have an idea of what you want
- Procrastinate as you continue to envision your idea
- Get the materials necessary
- Try and start doing something to get somewhere
- Pause making it since you have other homework
- Wait a couple days to finish work
- Try and get more progress done
- Pause for the day and see you got barely anything done
- Panic at night knowing you have to finish it within 3 days
- Get home and procrastinate even more somehow
- Lock in, Focus, and Don’t worry about the Sleepy feeling
- Achieve progress at impressive rate
- Finish the project at 12 a.m. or later, depends
- Place down your project and admire it
Congratulations, you now have:
- A half-baked deformed potato that lives in the shadow of your vision
OR
- 1. The greatest creation made that you will never see again in a week
Amount of Projects performed using these steps: around 7
Man I HAVE to stop procrastinating, this has happened WAY too often. I’m pretty sure it’s affected my sleep schedule, because now I seem to sleep at 12 more often on weekdays. This little story is a nice way to get that idea into something physical.
