A short, 8-page comic exploring the themes in They Called Us Enemy of losing home and being driven out. With this comic, I tried to incorporate different pencil strokes to create contrast in what would be a monotone scene. This was also an experiment in different comic compositions and formating, I wanted to create mostly snapshot-esque panels to better depict symbols and memories and move the story without disrupting the flow too much. The sequence of events narrated by the character interspersed with close-up shots of the present location is meant to reflect a sort of movie-like setup for the grand reveal of the last panel.
