Slow and steady wins the race

One step at a time, little by little, achieving success is inevitable. Don’t count each day as a day closer to break, make each day something worth cherishing. Yes, it might sound like a lot to ask for, but sooner or later everything will come together in your favour. As the phrase goes, don’t count the days, make the days count.

“It does not matter how slowly you go as long as you do not stop.”

-Confucius

Life might create large trenches in your way, but the only thing you can do is build over them. Ignore all hindrances, nobody will be able to extinguish the raging fire burning in your heart. If it’s as small as earning an A on your next maths exam or establishing a successful business and joining your dream college. Everything counts. These are the most important years of my life, it’s where I decide my career paths, make friends with similar dreams, and start maturing as a human being. Taking things one step at a time is vital for our future, as it will be a motto that we will follow throughout our entire life. Everybody, including you and me, should strive for greatness, strive to become the best possible version of ourselves, emptying our minds and work towards accomplishing our hopes and dreams.

When things might be going to fast, it’s necessary to slow down, relax, and focus on your breathing. It doesn’t always have to be academically related, but breathing can help loosen up your muscles and is an essential part of a pregame routine. Activating every muscle in your body to help you perform at your utmost capability. Slowing down helps you unlock a new potential, a new way to look at the situation presented in front of you. Though an obstacle might seem uncrossable, taking time to think about the steps you can take to cross it will create several openings, allowing you to accomplish your goals with ease.
