I live for adventure, but there was one time I stopped becoming adventurous, and maybe some people can relate. It was during quarantine when everything closed down, schools, social gatherings, food shops, and even parks. I used to play basketball every day and hang out with friends, now I would stay inside and play games all day. I would play games for at least eight hours a day, it was because I had nothing else to do. Although that’s when skating was introduced to me, it was something new. Something that gave you adrenaline and fun, learning new tricks, skating with friends, and seeing who was better at skating. Just by learning something new, I finally changed and took a step outside of my shell.

Learning new things could be different for everyone including the hobbies and how you learn. I guarantee learning is fun because you can benefit from it, grow, and develop traits that transform your life. This blog post is about trying new things, which is a topic that I would like to share with you today. Trying new things does wonders for your brain and your life, for example, it opens pathways for careers, lets you grow, have fun, and live. Although, Learning new things might be something that you are already doing, like reading this right now.
If you need help learning new things, you could always start by engaging in new activities outside your comfort zone. For example, you could either try foods that you’ve never tried, or activities like exercise, art, sports, and more. Just imagine yourself missing out on finding a new favorite hobby that you’ll keep doing your whole life just because you didn’t want to try something new.

By trying new things, you’ll finally learn how much this world has to offer. When you find new things to try, you’ll create many passions for the things you love. Even using your curiosity for the better, Barry Lopez says, “it is these relationships, not the things themselves, that ultimately hold the human imagination.” I hope this idea helped you today because I love learning and putting my time into things to become better at them.
