Hi, I’m Troy! I am a student at FVHS, who specializes in finding the best graphic novels that mackinVIA has to offer. I think “The Amazing Peter Parker” is a must-read for everyone. First of all, we can all empathize with Peter about the struggles of balancing your school life with your personal life. Peter struggles with his two separate identities of being the picked-on nerd at school while being the admired superhero at night. While I can assume that most of us are not superheroes, a lot of us still struggle with our separate identities in and out of school. 

Second, who doesn’t love Spiderman? I’m sure a lot of people have watched at least one of the spiderman movies in our lifetime and if you like those movies you are going to love this book. The book gives a kind of behind-the-scenes look at Spiderman’s life and shows us that being a superhero isn’t as fun and easy as it sounds. 

Lastly, there are a lot of new spiderman movies, video games, and memes always coming out and hopefully, this novel can at least give you an idea of what is going on. Now, maybe, you’ll be willing to at least check out the book by clicking on this link.
