Hi, I’m Shaleh and I am currently a highschool student who is navigating the rough waters of teenage years. But despite the the rough waves, you’ll always find smooth waters. Smooth waters to me is reading manhwa or manga, and I will always continue to read them even if I have a busy schedule. As someone who has an addiction to reading manga and is why That Time I was Reincarnated as a Slime is a MUST READ.

(Pathos) When looking for something to enjoy, you come across the title That Time I got Reincarnated As A Slime. Well if you were me, you get the flame of interest burning. Then you you click the manga to pull up details about it and you get a summary. The summary of the manga alone makes you feel sympathy for the main character. A man who died without experiencing the joy of a girlfriend. It captivates you to find out what happened or if there is going to be a better path for him. The manga entails the journey of a man who dies to a stabbing, and reincarnates into a world as a slime. The man gains connections, builds a kingdom, becomes a hero, and this op character who you do not want to mess with. The adventures of a slime captivates the audience as the manga brings a train filled with all different kinds of emotions: anger, grief, excitement, suspense, joy, etc.

(Logos) You’re not going into this manga blind. The title gives the basics of what’s happening in the beginning, and it is up to the reader to be able to find that interest to begin reading to continue. If you’re an avid reader of manga or manhwa plots like this, you know the cliche already. A nobody becomes a somebody in a new world, and makes a name for themselves. BUT, something about plots like this keeps you hooked, holding you captive to the panels as you read. You’ll find yourself saying at 3:00 A.M., “Just one more chapter!” So if you read manhwas or mangas like I was reincarnated as a Baby Fox God, Rising of the Shield Hero, or Reincarnated as a Sword, this manga is for you! I can guarantee you that the statisfication at watching the main charcater’s growth is a feeling that is unrivaled. The main charcater who was seen as nothing more than a piece of trash, now has a name known everywhere.

(Ethos) I get it, you don’t want to waste your time on something that isn’t worth your time. But you cannot pass up That Time I got Reincarnated As a Slime. As a student who rarely has time during exam weeks, you’ll still catch me trying to read mangas like these. It is something that you cannot put down once you pick up. You have to read this masterpiece, and I’m not the only one who thinks so. The fanbase for this manga which was adapted into an anime is insane. We see people being excited for season 3, and the development of the main character: Rimuru. While this may seem like another cliche manga, it delivers the unexpected and keeps the reader hooked. It has this feeling that makes the main character and his experiences feel real, and geniune as you get engrossed in his journey as a slime.
