A lot of thoughts go through my mind including what would happen if I sneezed or coughed in public. Before Covid-19, when someone would show symptoms of the cold, I wouldn’t care much. Maybe just distance myself a little, and not touch the things the person touched.

I relate to this GIF that a classmate had created. Since news of the virus, I’m always careful of when I sneeze and cough because people might think I have the virus. Also because of the racially driven crimes towards Asians, I am afraid of what would happen if someone misunderstood me and did something unpredictable. I try to hold the coughs and sneezes in, and thankfully no misunderstandings have occurred. It’s funny that people try to hold them in because of what others will think once they do sneeze or cough.
