Artemis Fowl

Greetings, my name is Quan Tran and I hope that you do read my opinions on this particular book. Thus, I will be explaining why Artemis Fowl: The Graphic Novel is a book that I recommend. Also, I can assure you that I am a top tier novel reviewer, well self proclaimed that is.

Summary: “Twelve-year-old criminal mastermind Artemis Fowl has discovered a world below ground of armed and dangerous—and extremely high-tech—fairies. He kidnaps one of them, Holly Short, and holds her for ransom in an effort to restore his family’s fortune. But he may have underestimated the fairies’ powers.”

(Logos) Artemis Fowl is a story that touches into a plot where there is that one guy who always knows the enemies next move, which so happens to be our main character. How unrelatable. I digress, but if you find one side of a fight being single handedly won, Artemis Fowl is a great choice as he bullies the fairies many times. Moreover, it slightly touches into a fantasy world with all their different monsters and races, yet with advanced technology. So, take the time to read it as it will satisfy those who love fantasy and fictional ideas.

Just Artemis making the fairies uneasy

(Pathos) According to BookPage, The author of the story, Eoin Colfer, took eight months to pen the first draft and with so much material to draw on. Not only is this a exceptional book, the author spent a fairly long time to make it. This is just the more reason why you should read it, the more people who read his amazing book, the more worth it was to make it.

As for my opinion, it is a really good story. I don’t really love reading, reading is definitely not on top of my need to do list, yet I wasn’t able to stop reading Artemis Fowl. Mainly because I was bored, but that is besides the point. Other books I tend to drop, and I didn’t do the same for Artemis Fowl. So, if I read it and had a good time, then you should too.
